antigreg :
November 15, 2000 — Out in the open
I only had one class today, and I didn't even really need to go since I learned absolutely nothing. But here we are, at 1:00AM, with plenty of studying for my biology midterm still left to do and me barely even having started. Luckily, without my chemistry lab tomorrow (ah, the conveniences of dropping classes...), I'll have a good six hours or so to finish up studying. I want to do an initial run through the book with a highlighter tonight, though, and then by the time 6:00PM tomorrow rolls around, I think I'll be ready to go. I actually attended the biology lectures and have a pretty good idea of what's going on, so I think I'll be alright.
In other news, I talked to my parents on the phone for a good length of time tonight. It was actually alright; they've no objections to any plans I might have to switch programs or to take a year off to figure things out, so none of my problems with school are getting to them. I also talked to my dad about antigreg, without telling him the address, and about the trip I'm planning to Nova Scotia in December. (Those of you who don't know what the trip to Nova Scotia is about haven't been paying much attention.) We talked about work and whatnot too, and about the little carrying bag I used to have for all my toy cars. Except I called them "tars" because I didn't know better. And I used to refer to myself as "boy" around this time because I wasn't very good at saying the letter R in my name.
So anyways. Back at the ranch, I spent most of my night trying to get caught up on my email and getting ready for a night of BIO150Y fun. This test has to go better than my calculus one, or I'm seriously going to just drop out.
No, really.
And I'm glad that Laura's posting replies to my journals again. There'd've been so very many journals with zero replies back in the day if Laura hadn't said something.
Also in site news, I signed up for my new server yesterday but still haven't heard back from them. I'm working on it. It'll be ready soon, I'm sure. And the cast page and whatnot could come along with the new server, and then I can tell my parents about the site and start telling people that the site exists. It'll be nice to feel that the site's sort of... done.
