October 20-22, 2000 — The most social weekend ever!

Well, not really.

You might think that because I wasn't able to post a journal for Friday or Saturday, I was having on of those crazy drinking binges I'm known for, with plenty of casual sex thrown in for good measure. But alas, there is a far less exciting explanation.

On Friday, Matt McCracken visited from Ottawa at almost 1:00AM, and by the time I got back to my room, it was almost 4:00AM. Those who think I'm dedicated enough to this site to get a journal posted at 4:00AM have some bad news coming.

And on Saturday, the Internet was disconnected at the most inopportune time, which meant my looking rude and my not being able to post a journal.

Although that's not to say that Saturday night was a waste: we borrowed CKY2K from someone at Ryerson, and a great time was had by all as we watched people smear shit on each others' faces and jump from fast-moving cars. As soon as I can afford a digital video camera, attempts at ripping off CKY skits for anti-greg will begin. Donations would be appreciated. The camera fund currently sits at $0.

Gillian leaves for Europe tomorrow, so I spoke with her a lot over the course of the weekend. I have a feeling that I'm going to a get a lot more work done now that she's gone and my email will retreat back to zero messages a day, but I don't think I prefer it this way.

Speaking of school, I now have a binder for each of my courses. Zany.

Plans to have five or so people sleeping in my residence room starting tomorrow night have apparently been cancelled. Nathan heard about this before Johnston and I did, which is kind of odd. Actually, we've only heard from Nathan as of now, so maybe it's still happening, who knows?
