October 17, 2000 — Makes me sad to think

I went to Radiohead tonight. It was an incredible show, to say the least, and my trying to write a review would a) make me seem more of a sellout and b) degrade the quality of the show, as I'd end up bitching about the assholes who sat behind me more than I'd talk about the show itself. So I won't. I got a t-shirt (since there weren't any hoodies) and thoroughly enjoyed my Radiohead experience. They played "Talk Show Host," too, which surprised me and made me smile. It's one of the songs from my friend-free period that made me feel better then and that I'm still happy to hear now.

Or maybe I don't want to write a review because this is the second journal I've posted in twelve hours and I've a lot of work to do and I want to go to sleep? You be the judge.

I slept a long time yesterday, at least. Today's worth talking about, outside of Radiohead, only because the new Grand Royal Web site is finally up, and because ... Okay, I've changed me mind, there's nothing else. A new Grand Royal site and Radiohead; my day is made worthwhile by two things that would've happened whether I existed or not. Hurah.

On a pleasant note, I'm feeling more able to work again. Last week (hell, last month), I'd had an extremely difficult time actually applying myself to anything, but I'm mostly finished the BV3 site and I'm not resisting the fact that I will maybe have to start doing a bit of my homework for school soon.

New anti-greg poll: will Greg fail out of first year?

I thought of two other reasons that today was worth waking up for: my mommy sent me a box of animal crackers and I ate the whole box, and my popular culture professor recognized me today. The former reason is no doubt making me fat and the latter reason sent shivers up my spine. Bet you wish you were me.
