September 9, 2000 — Andrew in the big city

good day all. this is not greg writing greg's journal. rather your friend andrew m. taking over anti-greg administrative duties for the night because greg is tired. greg tired you say. i was shocked as well. so anyways. i don't know what greg did all day. probably something on the computer. you know greg he likes the computers. oh wait i know what greg did. here we go strap on your seatbelts. so greg and johnston went to the bookstore and bought books. calculus and lectures in evolution, physics. stuff like that. After that they journey'ed to extra large and bought $1000 worth of clothing but in reality it only cost 250$ because of a 75% sale or some such nonsense. they did not fail to mention this to everyone they encountered. i think they just liked saying they had bought $1000 worth of clothing today. so where do i come in you ask? well here's my journal entry for today. i also apologize for the lack of paragraphs so far.

So its the weekend. and weekends at humber college usually mean no friends for andrew. my buddy scott goes home for the weekend. kristine and michelle had training at work. so i was by myself all day to do homework. granted i could have found people to hang out with but i'm very picky about that kind of thing. i'm also lazy and i also had a lot of work to do so it worked out. by the time dinner rolled around i was pretty bored. so i had dinner and felt gross and fat and lazy and depressed from being at humber so with this in mind i called greg and johnston thinking that a visit with friends from back home was what the doctor had prescribed. so after organizing that i made a trip to kristines room to drop off some stuff and tell her i shant be watching resevoir dogs with her this evening, which was fine because she was tired and had a bad day. so this being said i gave her some "Untold tales of Yuri Gargarin" to cheer her up and was on my way. i took the bus with some people from humber who a little drunk but very nice none the less and then the subway to museum where my gracious host greg met me.

I like greg and johnston's res a lot. it's easy on the eyes. lots of ivy and all that jazz. so we hung out on the balcony and got caught up on the weeks events, then headed over to Ryerson to pickup my sleeping bag and visit with the nathan, laura and pat. the walk there was uneventful although i came to the realisation that toronto is a very stinky city. we got there and of course no one was in their room so we threw pennies at pats window until he came out and let us in. inside was the usual drunken lot, but they're a fun lot, not to slag on anyone from ryerson. and i got to see everyone and get sarah's film out of her camera by means of destroying her camera. greg will mention this tomorrow i'm sure. i also got the horseracing record so we can get some gambling going on at humber(which i'm sure will do ridicuously well considering there is a racetrack down the street that noone goes to) ya so then we bid our adieus and left. the walk home was chalk full of gay men and transvestites along with young folk drag racing and playing chicken in their fancy cars. good times . so anyways that was our night. it was pretty fun . to everyone at home i'll be emailing you all soon whenever i get the internet going on my computer. talk to you all soon.~andrew m.

oh and go and look at anti greg tv from 3am-3:45am sun the 11th?peaceout
