July 25, 2000 — This is your life...

...and it's ending one minute at a time.

I thought I'd keep with the "Fight Club" theme that appeared as the site's slogan a few days back (and remains there even now) and lead with this (very appropriate) quote from the movie.

Yesterday was a complete waste.

I got up at 5:15AM, went to work, got home at 5:30PM, and went to sleep. That's it. I didn't even read on the way to or from work. I didn't check me email (although I seldom get email, anyways). I didn't talk to anyone (not that I do that much, either). I didn't update my journal. I got absolutely nothing done.

And I didn't even get much sleep last night. I ended up waking up again at around midnight (six hours after going to sleep), and then didn't really sleep again until 5:00AM today.

But I'm at work now and likely shouldn't be updating my journal with this meagre excuse for a day, so I'll return to the joys of coding. Maybe today won't be so utterly useless.
