July 11, 2000 — Even I'm not sure what I meant

Today was a good day in completely materialistic ways. I am not improved as a person, but at least I did the right thing and got out of the house to spend money.

I just got back from seeing "Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai" at the Mayfair. It was an excellent movie; I especially enjoyed the Flava Flav references. I hadn't really expected it to be such a character-based movie. The most interesting part was the relationship between Ghost Dog and the owner of an ice cream truck who speaks French and no English. It wasn't what I expected at all, so that was fun.

And I got my FedEx package from the good people at Grand Royal with a BV3 care package for me as I begin to work on the Web site. It's so nice to hear new songs; you've no idea. I can't wait until the album's released (or at least until it's finished and they let me hear the entire thing).

I went inline skating for my entire lunch hour today, despite the fact that I've only had six hours of sleep since the weekend. My body's going to revolt soon. Maybe it's already begun...

I'm actually going to try and go to sleep now. I should be able to get about six hours of sleep, which would double this week's total! I keep walking into walls and not recognizing people and forgetting names... It's just sad. So yeah, sleep. Maybe.
