June 29, 2000 — That's simply unbeatable, cookie-wise

Normally I'd wait and write this later, but I'm feeling reasonably happy right now for no apparent reason, which means this is probably a better time to get down to it, instead of in fuck-I-want-to-go-to-bed mode later tonight.

Anyways. I didn't get to make my extended inline skating trip to and from the Rideau Centre twice; I had to get back from lunch early to work on something so I only made it once. At least I tried. I'm surprised I made it at all, since I've been feeling more and more burnt out from the limited sleep time as of late. I think I've slept about 20 hours since Sunday, which isn't so good.

All this week I've been going to this cute little deli place for lunch. It's very much a family operation, and part of the fun is being charged different prices everyday depending on who's working cash. Once it came to $3.75, and I was given the choice between getting my quarter in change or taking a cookie. I took the cookie.

After work, I finally got my kid socks. More or less, anyways. They're grey socks with blue stripes at the top, and I'd wanted white socks, but these'll definitely do for now and I'll look plenty dorky on the weekend. I still haven't been able to find non-prescription glasses, so any tips on that would be appreciated.

This summer is going to be all about countdowns. After tomorrow, I only have eight more weeks of work, and as of today, I've only five more weeks with braces. So in eight weeks things mightn't be so bad.

I'm working a lot on anti-greg again, and I think the next big update should happen soon. I'm changing most of the sections around and re-doing all the designs. Once this phase is done, I'll start handing out stickers and everything will be fine.

So much to do.
