May 31, 2000 — Reading subtitles backwards

I've got a mirror set up so that I can watch my Lain videos as they play in my parents room and still stay in my room to work on finishing anti-greg, or at least the initial launch thereof. What I didn't anticipate was the difficult in reading the subtitles, which are a bit on the backwords side.

I had an orthodontist appointment today. I've got a severe headache now because they put on massive wires with considerable tension. The good news is that I should get rid of my braces forever in July, and nothing could make me happier. Thus proving how superficial I continue to be.

I bombed an algebra test today. One question was out of 7 marks and I didn't have a clue how to do it. I made up an answer; maybe the teacher will at least be amused by it.

I've been thinking a lot about moving to Toronto. It should be alright; a good number of kids from school who I seem to get along with (but who really knows these days) are going to Toronto next year too, and it'll be a fresh start, which I haven't had in seven years. I figure if my hatred of existence fades with my memories of St. Mark, I can try and be a bit less of a jerk. I'll need a new nickname.

It occurs to me that I'll need to redesign this message board soon since it looks rather ugly and lame.

Today in physics class, we were trying to convince Tim, a rather religious lad, that Tron was based on a book of the Bible added by Mormons and was a classic battle of good versus evil that should be taken extremely seriously. I don't think he bought it.

I think my parents are going to definitely get me a camera for my graduation present. I'm actually looking forward to it a lot; I wish I'd taken photography and learned how to use a camera properly when I was younger, but I guess it's never too late. I hope not, anyways.

It occurs to me that I didn't think anything worth thinking today and that I've been in drone mode since I woke up. I hope I feel less stupid once high school's over.
