ANTIGREG : OTHER CONTENT : THE POST-IT PROJECT |

IntroductionThis feature was originally posted in the spring of 2000. I was still in high school, and I had a fair amount of time on my hands. I asked friends and acquaintances and the occasional teacher to draw whatever they wanted on a single Post-It note. Then I wrote a brief explanation of each one and posted all twenty-five online. It’s quite probable that I stole this idea; I remember seeing something similar in an old issue of The Face, something that involved sending Post-It notes to celebrities and getting them to create art of some sort on them. I didn’t really want anything as cerebral as that, though. And by giving few if any instructions to most of those involved, I ended up with a fairly diverse set of Post-It notes. Thirty months later, I’m realizing how long it’s been since I left high school.
